Our position on copyright
BESTMT4EA respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of this site to do the same.
We operate two clearly separated categories of download:
- Hosted files — our own builds, and open-source software whose licence permits redistribution. Each page shows the licence and credits the original author, with a link to the source repository.
- Linked files — third-party commercial products. These are never copied onto our servers. We link to the publisher’s own page so you obtain the product from the rights holder directly.
If you believe something on this site is not compliant with that policy, tell us and we will act.
Filing a takedown notice
Send a written notice to bestmt4ea@gmail.com with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice”, including all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on bestmt4ea.com where the material appears.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices cannot be processed and will be returned for the missing information.
What happens next
- We acknowledge a valid notice when we receive it and act promptly. We deliberately do not publish a fixed handling time: a number we cannot always control is worse than no number, and each notice deserves to be read properly rather than rushed to a deadline.
- Material that is the subject of a valid notice is removed or disabled while we review it.
- We notify the party who supplied the material where we are able to.
- Repeat infringers are blocked from supplying material to this site.
If a file was removed in error, the supplier may send a counter-notice with the same contact details, explaining why the material is lawful and consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We may restore the material if the original complainant does not pursue the matter.
Where a product is a third-party commercial system, we act only as a distributor or a link, and the copyright in that product remains with its owner. The licence terms that apply to anything you download from us are set out in our terms and conditions.
Takedown is not the first step
If a file we host is yours and you would simply prefer it credited differently, or removed, email us first. Most issues are resolved faster by a message than by a formal notice.
